Our Mentoring for Health project is proud to be part of the EIC Pathfinder Challenge Portfolio on Precision Nutrition—a unique ecosystem of eight innovative projects funded by the European Innovation Council. Together, we are redefining the future of personalized nutrition, disease prevention, and healthy aging.
We do not take this journey alone. Our work is strengthened and expanded through active collaboration with these pioneering projects:
BUGS4URATE: tackling hyperuricemia and gout by developing precision probiotics and dietary interventions targeting the gut microbiome and glycan pathways.
FIBRE-MATCH: matching sustainable dietary fibers to individual gut microbiomes to promote gut health through Precision Nutrition.
DiBaN: exploring how novel microalgae and insect-derived foods interact with gut bacteria to improve metabolic health, with a focus on type 2 diabetes.
INTERACTHoMiG: investigating how interactions between host biology, the microbiome, and glycans (“the triangle of sweetness”) can be modulated to prevent chronic diseases.
NUTRIMMUNE: creating genome-scale models to study how diet and microbiota influence immune responses and develop targeted nutritional interventions.
NutriEV: developing extracellular vesicle-based nutritional diagnostics and therapeutics to support metabolic health.
GLUCOTYPES: using real-time glucose monitoring, multi-omics, and AI to define individual glycemic response patterns and develop tailored nutritional strategies for diabetes management.
